IUNO Networking Event on Intelligent and Immersive Technologies in Art and Culture | 19 June 2026 | 1–7 pm
The first networking event organised by the »IUNO – the Innovation Centre for Intelligent and Immersive Technologies in the Independent Arts Scene« will take place on 19 June 2026 at HTW Berlin!
Join us in looking forward to:
Presentation of our first Artistic Fellow
Artist Jinran Ha will present her artistic concept »Opaque Interface«, selected by the jury within the IUNO Open Call 2026 and critically examining AI in combination with immersive technologies.
Expert Talks
Experts Jasmin Grimm, Damian Dziwis and Robert M. Stanley will give keynote talks to inspire, reflect and discuss AI, XR and the question of digital ownership.
Media Production Playground
»How can I transfer my analog art into the virtual world – and how can AI help?« – these were the starting questions for this format featuring speed workshops in 2D>3D, 3D scanning and AI motion tracking in collaboration with the EU-funded Creative Cross Collaborations Berlin (CCCberlin) project by Dachverband Tanz Deutschland.
Inspiring XR and AI projects developed at HTW Berlin
The event will present Phygital Intimacy, a mixed reality multiplayer on togetherness developed in close collaboration between the EU-funded AURORA XR School for Artists and the independent artists Lisa Kaschubat, Tasha Hess-Neustadt and Jane Arnison (presentation of the standalone version without live dance – but with a dancing avatar). Furthermore, get inspired by selected students’ projects experimenting with innovative technologies!
Cultural Funding Consultation
Personalised cultural funding consultation from experts of our Kreativ Kultur Berlin.
Exchange and Networking
There will be coffee, brezels, and an amazing view on the Spree river for discussions and exchange.
Main language will be English – questions and exchange in other languages are always welcome!
Free event thanks to the ERDF funding as part of its program »Strengthening the Innovation Potential in Culture III« (INP-III).
